Boffo Review: 4 Tall Tales Close Out Heritage Theatre’s 2010 Season with Stories of America

Good ol’ fashioned American storytelling is on display in Grand Rapids this week with the final week of Stephen Vincent Benet’s Stories of America. With Michael Dodge, Julie Kehr, Gary Mitchell, Rachael Pineiro, Mary Beth Quillin, and Danielle Slot, this piece of narrative theatre wraps up Heritage Theatre Group’s 2010 summer season with a hearty serving of Americana.

Spotlight News Round-Up: “Spring Is Here” Edition

While you’re enjoying the warmer weather outside, be sure to take some time to go back inside… A theater that is! The 2010 Grand Rapids community theater season is still underway with lots of events coming up (Sarah, Plain and Tall at Civic, Rent at Circle, and The Little Dog Laughed at Actors’ just to name a few) with big auditions on the way yet.

Heritage Theater Announces 2010 Season: Finally!

After months of speculation and doubt, Heritage Theater Group has finally announced their 2010 season. Along with the requisite Shakespeare play (The Two Gentlemen of Verona), Heritage will present Jerome Lawrence and Robert Edwin Lee’s Inherit the Wind and Stephen Vincent Benét’s Stories of America. No dates have been set for the performances.

Audition dates have been set for April 9, 10, and 11, but a location has yet to be secured. Check out the audition calendar for times and stay tuned to Spotlight on the Grand for updates as they become available.
