Last Weekend to See Jewish Theater’s Value of Names

Got this from loyal reader Kathy Boylon last week about the Jewish Theater Grand Rapids production of The Value of Names. It closes this weekend, and runs tonight, October 29, and Saturday, October 31, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 1, at 3 p.m. in the Black Box space in Spectrum Theater. You have three chances to see this wonderful and provocative play.

Roll Call: Little Princess at Master Arts and Value of Names at Jewish

The ’09-’10 season continues this week with auditions at Master Arts Theater and the season opener at Jewish Theater Grand Rapids.

Master Arts Theater (75 77th St. SW) is already under way in preparing to open its season with I Remember Mama, John Van Druten’s adaptation of Kathryn Forbes’ Mama’s Bank Account, on September 17.  Their second production, A Little Princess, will hold audtions on Saturday, August 29, and Monday, August 31.
